YTDownloader-Browser

This is a Chrome extension that allows you to download videos from YouTube/YouTube Music.

This is a upgrade version of YouTube-Downloader.

Features

The video limit is up to 2~3 hours, or the downloader will crash. (In my test. Maybe up to more than 3 hours.)

• Download YouTube videos in SD, HD, Full HD, 4K, and even 8K.
• Download multiple YouTube/YouTube Music videos at once.
• Download YouTube/YouTube Music videos from a playlist.
• Download all your favortie YouTube Music songs.
• Download the Private videos. (You need to be logged in to download the private videos.)(alpha)

Installation

You can download the extension from the release page

1. Download the repository.
2. Install the npm package (npm install).
3. Build the extension (make).
4. Install the Chrome extension in build folder with developer mode.
5. Enjoy!

How to Download The Videos or Songs

Remember the videos/playlists/songs must be public. (Or you need to sign in)

1. Open the videos in the main YouTube page or open the songs in the YouTube Music page.
2. Click the extension icon in the top right corner (You may need to pin it).
3. It will download the videos/songs.
