PayMe is a comprehensive MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) application designed to emulate online payment functionalities similar to leading platforms like Paytm. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up PayMe locally:

1. Prerequisites:

   • Node.js and npm installed on your machine
   • MongoDB installed and running locally

2. Installation:

   • Clone the repository to your local machine:

     git clone https://github.com/your-username/payme.git

   • Navigate to the project directory:

     cd payme

   • Install server dependencies:

     npm install

   • Navigate to the client directory:

     cd client

   • Install client dependencies:

     npm install

3. Running the Application:

   • To start the backend, run:

     node index.js

   • To start the frontend, run:

     npm run dev

   • Visit http://localhost:3000 in your web browser to access the PayMe application.
