A basic travel app that allows users to select their destination and their travel date and receive a brief weather report (overview, temperature, humidity), a photo of the destination (randomly generated), and some information about the country they will visit (flag, population, region).

The main features of this project are:

Using just the city name and the date, four APIs are used to retrieve the weather, the photo, and the country information.

Geonames API is used to retrieve the city coordinates.

Weatherbit API is used to retrieve the weather forecast.

Pixabay API is used to retrieve the photo.

REST countries API is used to retrieve the country information.

The app is responsive and mobile-friendly.
After installing dependencies with npm install
, the following command will run the app:
$ npm start
