Manual installation of LMS plugins

To manually install an LMS plugin hosted on GitHub:

Go to LMS > Settings > Plugins and uninstall the currently installed version of the plugin, if applicable.

Download the latest GitHub version of the plugin by clicking on the green Code button and download the zip archive.

Go to LMS > Settings > Information. Near the bottom of the page you'll find several LMS plugin folder paths. The path you want does not include the word Cache. Examples of LMS plugin folder paths for manual installation of plugins (no guarantees):
- piCorePlayer: /usr/local/slimserver/Plugins
- macOS: /Users/yourusername/Library/Application Support/Squeezebox/Plugins
- Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Squeezebox\server\Plugins

Extract the downloaded archive and move the folder (named after the plugin) to the correct LMS folder for plugins..

Restart LMS.
- Delete the plugin from your local plugin folder (see installation).
- Restart LMS.
