Halo CE Mouse Tool v5
Halo CE Mouse Tool v5
Changelog:-A DLL version of the tool is now included. Simply go to the normal mouse tool, press the deploy DLL button, browse to your Halo Custom Edition/Controls or SPV3/Controls folder if you are playing SPV3, select it, go to that folder and run the DLL settings application and set the settings from there, then press F1 while ingame at anytime to activate. This will allow you to get around having to run any external applications everytime you want to play.
-Improvements to code(my C++ leaves a lot to be desired though), + numerous bug fixes
-More settings to customize the tool
-Increment/Decrement via +/- keys: You can now fine tune your sensitivity ingame by pressing your plus or minus keys to add or subtract a specified amount to your sensitivity(if you have the option enabled).
Halo CE Mouse Tool v4
Halo CE Mouse Tool v4
Changelog:
-Complete overhaul of UI and codebase
-Hotkeys: You may now set a hotkey(default is F1)which will write to Halo's memory when pressed ingame.
-Selective patching: You can choose whether or not you want to patch the acceleration or not.
NOTE: If you have already patched with acceleration off, you can not turn it back on by rechecking it. You must restart Halo in order to reenable acceleration.
-Sounds: Upon a successful or erroneous action, an associated sound will play. You can turn this off.
-Enable/Disable update checks on launch: If you don't want to have the application automatically check for updates, you may turn it off from the settings. Note if you have it off, you can still manually check for an update by pressing the check for updates button from the settings menu.
-XML Configuration file: No longer do you have to set all your settings back to what you had them before. Now, the tool will automatically generate a config file on first launch, and save all your settings to it when you close the application.
I have ideas for future features as well, which you can find in the repo under the file 'future.txt',
so there is definitely more coming. I regret releasing so soon after v3, but I hope the bounty of new features makes up for such a sudden release.
Hope everyone enjoys.
