Although boot2docker announced deprecated state, these pictures are imaginable of following advantages that standard Docker Desktop could not be competent for:

• Customized username and password for DOCKER'S OS and SSH server
• Customized port number of SSH
• Customized port number of dockerd
• Customized crypto e.g. Ed25519 inside out
• Customized additional persistency storage
• Customized share path of your Host Machine
• Customized additional parameters of various services
