Banner Patterns

Many of the banner patterns share symbols with the Chiseled blocks. New crafting recipes have been added that take inspiration from the IRL process of 'stone rubbing'.

Use paper, charcoal, and a chiseled block to get a pattern.

Patterns are as follows:

  • Chiseled Sandstone → 'Creeper Charge' Pattern
  • Chiseled Stone Bricks → 'Globe' Pattern
  • Chiseled Deepslate → 'Thing' Pattern
  • Chiseled Nether Bricks → 'Skull Charge' Pattern
  • Chiseled Quartz Block → 'Flower Charge' Pattern
  • Chiseled Polished Blackstone → 'Snout' Pattern
  • Chiseled Tuff → 'Flow' Pattern
  • Chiseled Tuff Bricks → 'Guster' Pattern

Additionally, as this diminishes the value of the Master Cartographer trade ('Globe' pattern), a new trade has been added.
Maps to Ancient Cities can now be bought.

Loot tables for the 'Snout' pattern are unchanged.
