  • Appears On: Fl. Caves

  • Appearance: Giant Drowner (no barnacles) with a giant water-bloated forehead.

  • Movement: Idles around the room randomly

  • Attacks:


  • Sucks in water, pulling Isaac in with a stronger force than Mega Fatty (tied to player speed if possible). After a few seconds of this, Hydro releases a large volley of tears that leave behind water puddles.

  • Stops to rapidly inflate and deflate it's forehead, spurting out random tear volleys with each contraction. Lasts up to 4 contractions.

  • Begins to quickly pursue Isaac, it's forehead slowly expanding as the chase goes on. Any tears fired at Hydro during this attack have a chance to cause a spurt of tears to be shot back at the player. After this brief period (about the same length as Gemini's chase) the head 'pops' releasing a giant water cascade twice the size of M. Fatty's vomit attack.

  • On death, head quickly expands and pops completely, spraying out a + tear pattern (like Mr. Fred, including the creep trail).
