4.50 PS4 had the DNS settings set correctly to run non-locally and updated to whatever firmware was on the HDD. "View details" button before update did not show the usual Sony page.

Please leave a disclaimer or something about firmware on the HDD if this was supposed to happen. I wouldn't want anybody else to lose their opportunity for this exploit.

Added in really big letters on the release to look here. I'm going to test if I set the version to 9.99 if it'll use that vs an already downloaded 5.05 tomorrow.

Tested your version 99.99 workaround. Didn't work as expected but it does the trick!
I was on 4.50. Version 5.05 was already downloaded but not installed. So updating to 4.55 was not possible.

Downloading Version 99.99 worked with your latest changes but installation resulted in error SU-35942-3.
After resetting DNS settings to default, my ps4 started to download 5.05 update again (forgot to deactivate automatic downloads again :D ). My guess is the ps4 only keeps one update file and removes the old one before downloading the new. So i cancelled the 5.05 download and had no update file on my ps4 anymore.
Now it was possible to update to version 4.55 with an older version of your tool - e.g. RC1 version.
(I'm still not shure, why it started downloading 5.05 update again. Maybe 99.99 was deleted after error SU-35942-3 ? Or ps4 detected 99.99 as wrong after resetting DNS settings and deleted it?)

Possible shortcut - maybe someone else can test it:
-) start downloading 99.99 Version with latest (currently unreleased) version of this tool -> other updates will be deleted
-) cancel download (in notifications > downloads) before its finished -> no update file on ps4 anymore
-) update to 4.55 with older version (e.g. rc1) of this tool

Thanks for the feedback. So I can delete downloaded updates, but it won't install if the version is set to 99.99. I'll have to do some more testing but I may end up setting one DNS to 99.99 to delete updates (Or for those that don't want to update) and the other to 4.55. Then add an option to the local host to have an easy switch for users.
