  • Collection of the last official versions of drivers for Intel products.
  • See README.txt inside for descriptions on how to use.
  • Includes everything you will need to get an Intel 1st Gen through 6th Gen system working on Window 7/8
  • Also includes unofficial drivers for eMMC drives and 7th/8th Gen Chips (Not needed for Win8)
  • Also includes Realtek audio drivers since those are hard to find (as of 2024), because that is commonly found on Intel boards.

I was tired of downloading stuff from third party sites, or downloading older versions, so I took the task of arduously going through the web.archive of intel's download site, and collecting the latest version of each from an official source. The graphics drivers are actually still up on their site, but they might take them down at any time, so...
AMD does a much better job of providing drivers for old OSes.

See also the previous release which has Win7 development tools > https://github.com/Alex313031/Windows-7-Stuffz/releases/tag/BuildTools

The 32-BIT.zip contains 32 bit versions of the drivers (when the driver doesn't have both 32/64 bit included).

UPDATE: Fixed Intel Rapid Storage Technology, and added two versions
UPDATE 2: Added Intel and Atheros Wireless drivers as separate .zips
UPDATE 3: Added Intel MEI driver and more Wifi Drivers for both Intel and Atheros

  • Collection of tools to develop and build software

See these repos for Node.js versions 14, 16, and 18 that will run on Win7+

https://github.com/Alex313031/node14-win7/releases
https://github.com/Alex313031/node16-win7/releases
https://github.com/Alex313031/node18-win7/releases

Installing all of these, as well as NASM and WiX (both of which still support Win7 so no need to put them here), onto a decently powerful computer will turn your machine into a development powerhouse! A large portion of software that "doesn't support" building on Windows 7 can be built using these. You can even build some software that is new enough that it won't run on Win7, despite being built on it.

Software that has been built and tested using these tools on a Win7 haswell workstation: Many pip packages, many Electron projects (including all of the ones I maintain), many Node network stacks, alot of C++ software, Firefox ESR 115, 7-Zip, Rufus, and Notepad++, as well as building Python3 and Nodejs themselves, meaning those two are now self-hosting on Win7.

Notably, some things you can't build are: Chromium (needs MSVS 2022 with latest 22621 Win11 SDK), Node 20 (requires alot more patching), and projects using QT5 or GTK 4 (like QBittorrent).

  • An archive of Naver Whale for Windows 7/8/8.1
  • Includes an installer and a .reg registry file to disable "Unsupported OS" infobars

UPDATE: Added Chrome Enterprise installer "only" for Server 2012/2012 R2. This is 109.0.5414.168, the last "official" one for Windows 7/8/8.1 was 109.0.5414.120. But the newer one works just fine on those systems, and contains an important security fix for libwebp.
