Convert Knitting pattern to picture

If I have a knitting pattern as a file I would like to generate a picture from it so I can display the file in Explorer/finder/nautilus/html

Put pictures into knitting pattern

Pictures should be saved as files inside the instructions so one can transfer them with the instructions.

Compose Instructions

Choose from a gallery of examples and drag&drop them into your own masterpiece.

Create Punch cards

Create punch cards for older machines and machines that are not hacked.

Define custom instruction

I would like to define my own, custom instructions and also share them with a picture, video, text, ...

Show Machine instruction equivalents

When I have a pattern, I would like to know

  • red - which instructions are unknown to the machine and must be performed by hand
  • green - instructions that the machine can do without problem
  • yellow - instructions that a machine could do a little different - equivalents are defined somewhere. i.e.
    • increases in the middle of the row could be on the side
    • yarn over with twist could just be yarn over

Replace instruction

I would like to be able to replace an instruction with an other. This is especially useful for red and yellow instructions.
