Fatal error: Certificate verification: certificate common name doesn't match requested host name

I am getting this error in the FTP log and I have tried several things including changing the protocol, but nothing seems to work. I can FTP to my website from a Windows machine using the same credentials with no problem.

What should be my next step?

@dchamb55 Look in the Wiki for Troubleshooting -> Uploads. The answer is there.

I found the reference to Set the LFTP_COMMANDS variable in ftp-settings.sh to set ssl:check-hostname false. That did the trick.

You might consider updating the Wiki index to include FTP in with the Upload. I was looking for FTP when I should have looked for Upload. Maybe something like "Uploads and FTP".
