Appropriate for cityscape skyline photos & timelapses? #3647
-
Before I proceed too far, could I adapt this project to work for photographing and creating timelapses of a cityscape skyline? I intend to use a Rpi HQ camera and a 6mm 3MP wide angle lens pointed from a hill at the horizon. I selected that lens to avoid fisheye effect, but let me know if I should select something different. I am hoping to capture fog rolling in/out, boats maneuvering, traffic ebbing and flowing. Does this use case seem appropriate for Allsky? I am just thinking I will need to ensure my camera is level, whereas most users don't have that concern. Thanks in advance! |

@tondef,
you can use the camera and Allsky software for anything. Startrails won't work but keograms and timelapse will.
Nothing needs "adapting" - the only real difference is where you're pointing the camera.
Post a link when you get it working!
