@jimjackii It gives an indication of how well the picture is in focus. I think it measure the contrast. We haven't actually tested it, so if you want to, let me know how it goes. It's definitely impacted by the brightness, so any focusing would need to be done at a constant brightness, like at night. It has no effect on an image since it's calculated after the picture is taken. If it actually works, we'll port it to the ZWO cameras. @AndreasLMeg, FYI. |
