Both are green, right? sfp HSQG and fiber cable from ISP. Some case will have problem with RX power above -24dBm, need to fix it from -16 to -23 dBm. You can try firmware version with add mib for huawei from user Brazil. (Looking in threads of RTL960x) |

There are 2 ways: 1, change sfp to green 2, use the blue to green converter (adapter and patch cord) |

Ahh cool thanks you have been a tremendous help! Is there a y way to get useful lots from my SFP device? |

Logs from the SFP device so I can see exactly what is going on. I did a chip off on my ISPs ONU which helped me get passwords for the superadmin user along with console logins. I found the ctromfile.cfg (romfile.cfg) file which I believe contains all the relevant info to connect with. There are multiple vendor ids. I've tried many of them. Only the HWTC one allows an O5 state for about 5 minutes then it goes back to O2 and O3. I can see my VLAN ID is 100. Also was able to get my pppoe login data. Still no dice. <EPON>

Your problem is plug SC/APC to SC/UPC, so loss fiber. |

Well I got an adapter and still same exact thing. I have root access on my ISPs ONT. I have the config file posted above. I can get an O5 status but only initial status with no ONU ID given to me by the ISP. And my PPP user/pass will not connect with the right vlan |

Anyone know what this is in my ISPs config?? EnhancedPSK="01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 0a 0b 0c 0d 0e 0f 00" |

This explains it. Looks like my ISP is using this as an auth key. Any firmware out there that supports this method of authentication for our SFP sticks? |

I can provide the firmware for reverse engineering this enhanced PSK |

I have changed ISPs due to a move. The new ISP provided GPON has both a "Material code" and a "True SN" in addition to a GPON SN and a Device SN (which match). I can't seem to get past an O3 status no matter what I try. The material code is 600001XXXX, and True SN (True is the name of the ISP) is 14281324240236XXXX if the digits give any advice to what it actually is used for.
Is there a way to see the logs of the HSGQ gpon stick and see where it is failing when trying to connect?
