In today's business environment and with the rise of “smart” homes, building security has become one of the key aspects for protecting assets, employees, and confidential data. With the increasing number of unauthorized access and break-in incidents, there is a growing need for effective systems that can promptly detect and respond to potential threats. Traditional security systems often require the presence of security personnel or a complex infrastructure, which can be costly and difficult to maintain for small businesses or personal properties.

This project addresses the need for a simple yet effective security solution capable of automatically detecting the presence of a person, verifying their access credentials, and in case of an unauthorized access attempt, automatically triggering security measures, such as activating an alarm and notifying the responsible person.

By combining a Raspberry Pi 3 computer with motion sensors, a graphical interface for password entry, and a camera, the "Home Security System" provides an affordable and automated solution for protecting business or personal premises. This eliminates the need for constant surveillance and ensures a quick and adequate response to threats, minimizing the risk of break-ins and unauthorized access.
