The application at this point can perform the following tasks:

  • Loads and plays a local video
  • Detects text areas in the video with a relatively low error rate
  • Extracts the corresponding text of each text area using OCR and Image Analysis
  • Allows the user to apply OCR word filters for better extraction results
  • Plays and saves video with the detected text blocks
  • Multiple and extendable OCR language options
  • Extracts and saves images describing the steps of the video processing
