Works nicely with the MSI GS66. Thanks for making the code.

I would also like to see this.

I have Wireshark etc. on my Windows partition so if someone can tell me what to capture and how to analyse the needed data to generate an update config file to include the GS66 I would be happy to help.

Almost everything is already working with the exception of the Power button, which either stays orange or flashes between orange and white. If we could add this final key then the software would work perfectly on the GS66.

"stays orange or flashes between orange and white" is import to know if your computer is using the Nvidia or the Intel graphics card. Maybe best not to change that.

Sorry, I actually meant to mention only the backlight color of the ESC key can't be changed with msi-perkeyrgb yet (all other keys can). I'm guessing a small change to the config files for the GS65 profile might be needed to make that work.

You are right about the small extra LED on that key, it should not be touched by any RGB scripts.

+1 gs66 works fine, but important note: need to enable keyboard highlight by FN + F10 before try msi-perkeyrgb

The power button backlight is not customizable and when using FN+F11 4 times, instead of turning off the keyboard backlight, a few keys are red with varying degrees of brightness. Also not an issue but I would like to see FN+F9 (The SteelSeries button) cycle through the color settings, ie; aqua, disco, roulette, etc.

@mixalbl4-127 @robouden Actually, I'm on a GS66 Stealth (idk if it's relevant) and I cannot make it work, with any profile. All I get is the keyboard briefly flashing white. The keyboard lights work perfectly on windows and in grub or bios, but as soon as linux boot sequence starts, it flashes and get black. I'm on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS with kernel 5.11.0-46 , but I also tried different distros and updated kernels..

@FedericoCozziVM We have many duplicate issues regarding gs66 support. If you are still interested, thanks to other users contributions we managed to make some progress with some workarounds at #49

It is not perfect but al least we can enjoy the rgb light also on our pc.

@gturi That's great! thanks for reaching out! I'm testing it and I'll write some considerations at #49 asap
