Project Template

This is a starter template for final projects. When you have completed your final project, you should replace this message (README.md) with a short 1-2 paragraph description of your project.

REQUIREMENTS BEFORE STARTING


Files You Need to Edit

# Files that you MUST edit
_config.yml # put your project info in under "title and description"
CITATION.CFF # the digital file which records your information for automatic digital citation
README.md # this readme file, which will be the intro page on GitHub
index.md # the main homepage for the live website
pages/*.md # all of the various files inside the pages folder, which correspond to the individual web pages
assets/images/*.* # you don't need to edit the existing files, but this is where you put any images you want to link to

Optional Files to Edit

_includes/nav.html # edit this if you want to change the navigation links. This is CRUCIAL if you want to add/edit/remove any of the pages
_data # this is where you can put any project related data that you might want to reference
assets/css/*.css # this is where you can manually put css files if you want to style the site different than the default (requires knowing CSS)
