Mixing play...

Hello.
This project is amazing...

I have a question about the possibility of playing a melody in which I would like to insert sound effects.

For example:
I have a .SID from a Mario game (https://deepsid.chordian.net/?file=/GAMES/S-Z/Super_Mario_Bros_64.sid&subtune=1)

I'm playing a tune (Tune = 1;)

into which I would like to insert a jump sound effect (Tune = 37;)

would this be possible?

Nice to see that someone is still having fun with this project.

It is not possible to mix two tunes to play at the same time or to pause one tune to play another.
It is possible to switch tunes (with button press or some other event), but it is not possible to resume play previously played tune. It will always start playing from the beginning.
In theory, it can resume only if original code, that is emulated, is programmed to resume tune. But i doubt that is the case for any tune.

In short, when playing tune 1, you can switch to play tune 37, but after that tune 1 will play from a beginning...

I thought that if this .SID is extracted from a game in which the melody was played and the sound effect was played at the same time during the jump, the sound channels would be separated and it would be possible to somehow play it this way using this project... :-)

Well, you are right that if .SID is extracted from a game, it should behave like in game in a way that you described. And, the tune you mentioned, is just like that, replace channel one notes with sound effects, while other two channel play music. But, as i noticed, .SID tune is not same as tune in actual game (i found the game from lemon forum, version 1.2). From DeepSID, its starting address is $71c0, and in game is somewhere around $9000.
Whoever converted tune(s) to .SID, have relocated its staring/playing address, and probably added code to reset subtunes.
