Flame brick and a flag brick

Why do we need this brick?
Flag brick could be nicely used for top of a castle and or for other decorative purposes.
Flame brick would be cool to have in different heights than the one shown on picture above.

I feel like the flame would cause much more lag as it’s more defined rather than normal brick
