Is your feature request related to a problem?

I am always frustrated when I run out of keys on my keyboard.
Because of how some of they keybinds work in arma, it's nearly impossible to be able to fill every single role with 1 control cheme.
I ended up using multiple profiles for different purposes:\

  • A profile for commander preset, used to manipulate ai with the f1-f12 keys etc.
  • A profile for milsim roleplay, I use f1-f12 for ace/acre/gestures etc.
  • A profile for vanilla infantry play
Using this many profiles is annoying and cumbersome, having the ability to switch between control schemes with a button would be very epic and make my gaming experience much more enjoyable.

Also, selecting a different keybind preset resets all kebinds. Having player presets/schemes would be really epic and maybe even allow to export/import those to give someone else my keybinds with ease

Solution you'd like:

  • Saving and loading custom control schemes with ease.
  • A keybind to allow switching to a different control scheme within moments
This would allow me to setup keybinds that allow me to commands units and play as infantry and let me switch at ease without pausing gameplay.

Alternatives you've considered:
changing my profile every time based on what kind of gameplay I intend to engage in, but this limits me to that profile for the duration of the gameplay, as switching profiles requires access to the main menu
