Testing Round 1 August 2015

This is Testing Round 1 for the Learn The Law Online Classroom project. This is the first limited public testing of the LTL site. Testing in this round is limited to selected testers. The site is currently under heavy development so many things may not work as expected. Testing for specific functions is outlined below. For more information please send email to support@learnthelaw.org.

In round 1 you will test some of the basic functionality of site and report your findings. Be sure to checkout the tools we are using to help manage testing.

Please don't share the address of the development site with anyone who is not testing the site.

User registration and login

  • Open a browser window and visit http://dev.learnthelaw.org/.
  • In the upper right click on Login/Register to open the dropdown and then click on Create new account.
  • Complete the registration form. Be sure to use a valid email address.
  • You should receive a verification email within a few minutes.
  • Follow the link in the email to fully activate your account.

Elevating accounts to create organizations and classrooms

  • Learn The Law allows organizations to create branded space on the site to offer their own classrooms.
  • To get permissions to add your organization to the site please register on the site and send an email to support@learnthelaw.org and include the name of your organization and your username.
  • We will give you the necessary permissions and send you an email letting you know you're all set.

Adding an organization to the site

  • Log in to http://dev.learnthelaw.org/.
  • In the Navigation menu on the left select Add content and then Organization.
  • Fill out the form to create your organization, be sure to include a logo.
  • The logo image is subject to the following:

Files must be less than 2 MB.

Allowed file types: png gif jpg jpeg.

Images must be between 110x42 and 330x125 pixels.

  • Be sure to click Save at the bottom.
