About Data Reporting
- Notifiable diseases should be reported to the CDC, but there is no legal mandate, and there is no real enforcement mechanism to force their hand.
- Most do report, but not all.
- Some places have data warehouses that aggregate this data, which can produce a CSV for upload
- Hospitals without resources have the greatest burden
- The Data Automation project is focusing on this problem
