1. Tutorial: Getting Started
To get started with the mod you will need a Blank Data Model. Data Models are chips where you will store the information of mobs you learn. To create those you will need Soot-covered Redstone, created by punching Redstone Dust against a Coal Block:
A blank data model does absolutely nothing, you will need to bound it with a Category. Categories are (as the name suggests) categories of aggressive mobs in Minecraft.
Currently, the mod has the following categories:
Groups common mobs of the Overworld
Groups zombie mobs
Groups skeletons mobs
Groups slime-like mobs
Groups Illager-like mobs
Groups ocean mobs
Groups Ghost mobs
Groups common mobs of the Nether
Groups common mobs of The End
After choosing a category, you will need to create a Deep Learner:
The Deep Learner is what you will be using to collect data about the mobs you want to learn. After crafting one, right-click it and you'll be presented to its interface. Pick your Data Model and put in one of the four slots on the right. You will be able to preview all the mobs present in this Data Model on the left side.
A single Deep Learner supports 4 Data Models at the same time, you can navigate through them using the arrow buttons above the slots.
The Deep Learner also shows the current model's Data Amount and Tier. You can also view this just by putting your mouse above the Data Model and looking at its tooltip.
Just keep your Deep Learner in hands (in your hotbar) and start killing mobs!
Each mob you kill will give a +1 Data to the Data Models that matches its category AND ARE INSIDE YOUR DEEP LEARNER. It will not have effect if:
- The Data Model is not inside a Deep Learner
- The Deep Learner is not in your hotbar
- You killed a mob that doesn't belongs to any category of the Data Models inside your deep learner
- The Data Model reached its maximum tier
Just keep killing mobs and you will notice the Data Amount of your Data Models getting higher, and its Tier will be higher too.
If you are in creative mode and wants fast data, just get the Data Model in your hand and sneak + right-click.
