Releases: CaptainSwag101/M64MM2
Version 2.1.1
Merge pull request #12 from GlitchyPSIX/csharp M64MM2.1.1
Version 2.1
The program has been completely rewritten from scratch, now using the C# language instead of VB.NET. As a result, you can expect better performance, an improved UI, and several Quality-of-Life changes to existing features!
If you think any of the features aren't working as intended, or want to suggest a new one, please be sure to create an issue on GitHub, or contact me via email!
Thanks for your support, and enjoy the program!
Version 2.0.5.1
This update adds a shading editor to the Color Code Studio, as well as a shading randomizer, and a fix for users running Windows 7.
Version 2.0.3
This update adds the Color Code Studio, which allows you to import, export, and modify SM64 color codes while they update in real-time in the game! It also adds a memory I/O debug window to test reading and writing data to Project64, although this feature is recommended for advanced users who specifically need to use it.
Anyway, if you have any issues or feedback with these new features or anything else, PLEASE let me know at CaptainSwag101@gmail.com
Version 2.0
At last, Mario 64 Movie Maker 2.0 is out of beta! I've done my best to squash all the bugs with the program, and added several new features that I hope you find useful!
The first new feature is Precision Mode (enabled by going to Settings -> Enable Precision Mode), which allows you to adjust your camera angle before locking the camera completely, and then allowing you to re-adjust the angle again if you need to! Keep in mind that you must be able to freeze the camera normally for this feature to work properly, so make sure that you Change the Camera Type before enabling Precision Mode.
This build also introduces the "soft-freezing" feature, which allows you to lock the camera's position, but not the angle/rotation, meaning you can use the C-buttons or First-person mode to adjust the camera angle however you want, while still being able to move Mario! Keep in mind that this feature has its limits and may cause strange issues from time to time. Also, in order to use the C-buttons to adjust the camera in certain areas, you will have to press Ctrl-F or click Settings -> Force camera to be movable with C-buttons. You will have to do this every time you enter an area where the camera cannot be moved with the C-buttons.
Anyway, if you have any issues or feedback with these new features or anything else, PLEASE let me know at CaptainSwag101@gmail.com
Beta 9
This release adds the ability to "soft-freeze" the camera, which locks its general position but still allows it to be rotated using first-person mode and the C-buttons, similar to the "Freeze camera" GameShark code. By combining this with the normal "hard-freeze" ability of this program, you can more precisely set up camera angles by first soft-freezing anywhere, then adjusting the camera to your liking, and then hard-freezing the camera to keep the camera pointed where you want. For the next update, I am hoping to fix any and all bugs in the program for the first Release build of Mario 64 Movie Maker 2.0!
Beta 8
This update reduces CPU usage of the program, and also includes a few bugfixes and optimizations, as well as a few improved animation descriptions. Please contact me if you have issues with this new version of the program, which may be caused by some of the new optimizations.
Beta 7
This update fixes a few issues with animation swapping and selection, and also allows you to adjust the order of the animations in the dropdown menus by changing their order in "animation_data.txt".
It also includes a few miscellaneous bugfixes.
Beta 6
This is a smaller release, but it allows you to swap multiple animations at once, and also lets you quickly reset them all back to their defaults.
Beta 5
This update adds the ability to swap Mario's crouch animation with any other animation he can perform, although some of them look strange. In the future, I will allow multiple animations to be swapped at the same time, in order to make it easier to use the multi-part animation sequences.
Next, the "thorough" base address scan feature has been disabled, as it wasn't really helping much from what I've heard.
Also, the program now remains open after Project64 is closed, and is much more stable overall.
Finally, thanks to Dudaw (http://dudaw.webs.com) for his research on SM64's animations, which made this update possible.
