Casper API makes research in several topics to develop stable and secure decentralized storage system. There is a plan of our research.
Current version is based on Leslie Lamport algorithm for Byzantine Generals' Problem to allow providers find consensus about stored file integrity.
That technology allows to speedup user file download from providers.
Algorithm EigenTrust allows to score providers inside peer-to-peer system based on result of integractions between them and users.
