API user permissions

The API user must have the appropriate user permissions to access CiviCRM. If your CMS is Drupal, those permissions are defined on the role of the Drupal user that matches your CiviCRM API user. Typically, you can configure those permissions on https://server.example.org/admin/people/permissions.
