Getting PowerDNS (PDNS) to boot on Ubuntu 18.04

Install PowerDNS

$ sudo apt-get install -y pdns-server pdns-backend-mysql

$ unlink /etc/powerdns/pdns.d/bind.conf

Install the zone API to the database PDNS, change local-address as well as local-address-ipv6 in /etc/powerdns/pdns.conf to the public IP Address for the DNS.
