TerrSet liberaGIS Geospatial Monitoring and Modeling Software (v20.00)

This repository contains the installation files and guide for TerrSet liberaGIS Geospatial Monitoring and Modeling Software (v20.00). This is the latest version of TerrSet that was released as a free software on Dec 2nd, 2024. (Read the announcement about TerrSet free version here)

Download

You can download the TerrSet installer from the releases page. For each version of TerrSet, you will find an executable installer listed under the corresponding release. TerrSet requires Microsoft Access Database Engine to be installed on your computer. If you don't have this, you can find the installer similarly in the releases page.

System Requirements

TerrSet is an object-oriented system designed for professional-level use on platforms employing the Microsoft Windows operating environment. The following is required for TerrSet installation:

  • Windows 8.1 and above, or Windows Server 2008 and above
  • Microsoft ACE 2010 or Microsoft Office 2010 or later
  • 1.3 GB hard drive space for application
  • 7.5 GB hard drive space for tutorial data
  • 8 GB RAM, 16 GB or more is recommended
  • HD display (1920 × 1080) or greater is recommended

Installation

Tutorial Data

The tutorial data for TerrSet are available in a repository on Zenodo (link). You can download the data specific to each module or for all modules as a zipped folder from Zenodo.
