Transfer Fees

On testnet3, the following transfer fees apply:

• simple transfer: 0,0059 GTU
• shielded transfer: 3,007 GTU
• shielding: 0,0159 GTU
• unshielding:: 1,6065 GTU

The respective fee is currently calculated directly from the energy cost, based on the computational time required to handle the transaction. It is deducted from the general (unshielded) Balance and for every transaction - successful or failed.

Note that the GTU drop that can be requested on newly created accounts for test purposes has been increased temporarily from 100 GTU to 1000 GTU to ensure that transfer fees can be paid during the transaction challenges. Note that the GTU drop button in the mobile app as well as the related pending transfer details still indicate 100 GTU. You will however receive 1000 GTU on your account when the transfer is finalized.
