Release Plan

• v1.28.0 was published on 10 November which incorporates Candidate standards arising from Decision 306 and updated draft Non-Bank Lending standards.
• The outcome of MI17 will likely be published in v1.29.0.

Maintenance Iteration 17 Candidates

The issues listed below have been consulted on as candidates for this iteration and changes are underway.

Holistic Thread for MI17

• #612 – Maintenance Iteration 17 Holistic Feedback for minor documentation updates and other amendments.
  • Changes to Get Metrics error descriptions proposed to align with v4 and v5 changes, see this comment
  • Number data type issue requires further DSB discussion and if changes are required they'll be staged for community review. ⚡
  • No concerns raised with other items on this thread.

Banking:

• #593 - Interest paid at maturity guidance for applicationFrequency in BankingProductDepositRate
  • Candidate standard proposed in DP306.
  • Concern raised with regard to how it would be reflected in the MI17 decision document, DSB to consider and resolve. ⚡

Energy:

• #587 - EnergyBillingDemandTransactionV2 - Measure Unit

  • No objections for proposed change to have two versions run in parallel although concerns for ADRs having to support concurrent versions for an undefined period of time is a potential pain point.
  • DSB to monitor and introduce a retirement date for old version if needed. ⚡

• #613 - Time format change request for Energy Plan Data

  • Agreed in principle to proposed solution described in this comment adopting ISO8601 however DSB needs to add specificity on the external reference for clarity.

Schema

• 620 - Authorization Response Algs should be conditional in RegistrationProperties
  • Error in optional fields, authorization_signed_response_alg and authorization_encrypted_response_alg should be conditional as specified.
  • Non-breaking change.

Documentation:

• #288 - Gap in CDS specs around the mandatory nature of 'redirect_uri' in the Token Request
  • Update required to non normative example. ⚡
  • Non-breaking change.

Common

• #617 - Get Metrics v4 & v5 authorisations property changed from optional to mandatory as part of Maintenance Issue 599 & v1.27.0
  • Issue discussed, no change to be made.

Maintenance Iteration 18

Maintenance Iteration 18 is scheduled to start on 7 February 2024. The start dates for all MIs scheduled in 2024 can be found on the Meetings page.
