Added Death Wish Mode. To enable, turn on the EnableDeathWish option. As always, never turn this on if you don't have the Seal the Deal DLC.
Death Wish comes with the following options:

A new end goal, complete Seal the Deal

DWShuffle: An alternative way to play Death Wish where you complete the contracts one by one in a random order on the map. If Seal the Deal is your goal, it will always be the last one in the sequence. This option will also completely remove stamp requirements from all Death Wishes. Defaults to false. The amount of Death Wishes shuffled into the map can be adjusted with the DWShuffleCountMin and DWShuffleCountMax options.

DeathWishOnly: Allows you to exclusively play Death Wish in a seed. This option removes every check in the game besides the ones in the Death Wish map, gives you every progression related item, and unlocks all chapters. This option is meant to be a freeplay mode, similar to Risk of Rain 2's classic mode. Defaults to false.

DWEnableBonus: Adds checks for completing Death Wishes in full (2 bonuses for 1 contract = 1 check). Using Peace and Tranquility to obtain the stamps will not count. Only for the brave. Defaults to false.

DWAutoCompleteBonuses: Automatically clears any bonus stamps upon completing the main objective of a Death Wish. This option has no effect if DWEnableBonus is turned on. Defaults to true.

DWExcludeAnnoyingContracts: Excludes certain tedious or hard to reach Death Wishes. Excluded Death Wishes have their checks excluded, and will automatically award all of their stamps when unlocked on the map. Defaults to true.
This currently consists of:

  • Vault Codes in the Wind
  • Boss Rush
  • Camera Tourist
  • The Mustache Gauntlet
  • Rift Collapse: Deep Sea
  • Cruisin' for a Bruisin'
  • Seal the Deal (unexcluded if goal, but the checks are still excluded)

DWExcludeAnnoyingBonuses: Similar to the above, but only affects the bonuses for contracts. Excluded bonus contracts will send their bonus check automatically once the main objective is completed, as well as award the stamps. Defaults to true.
This currently consists of:

  • So You're Back From Outer Space
  • Encore! Encore!
  • Snatcher's Hit List
  • 10 Seconds until Self-Destruct
  • Killing Two Birds
  • Snatcher Coins in Battle of the Birds
  • Zero Jumps
  • Bird Sanctuary
  • Wound-Up Windmill
  • Snatcher Coins in Alpine Skyline
  • Seal the Deal

DWExcludeCandles: Excludes all candle Death Wishes. This option is highly recommended if you're turning on DWShuffle. Defaults to true.

DWTimePieceRequirement: The amount of Time Pieces that will be required to unlock Death Wish. Ignored if DeathWishOnly is turned on. Defaults to 15.

Added a new option (KnowledgeChecks) that puts certain tricks into logic that aren't difficult, but aren't obvious or well known. This currently includes:

  • Skipping Subcon fire walls in painting shuffle (Green can be skipped with nothing, Yellow/Blue expects you to have No Bonk Badge)
  • Getting to Pink Paw Station by warping there from the Yellow Overpass Station time piece. This skips the dweller mask and metro ticket requirements, but you are still expected to have Hookshot.
  • Getting the item behind the fan in Pink Paw without Time Stop
  • Getting Clock Tower Chest and Top of Ruined Tower in Mafia Town by jumping down from Mafia HQ in acts 5-7

Hard Logic Additions:

  • The SDJLogic option has been merged into hard logic
  • Getting to Toilet of Doom (and the boss arena chest) without Hookshot via SDJ and No Bonk Surfing
  • Clearing Green Clean Manhole without the Dweller Mask

Expert Logic Additions:

  • Entering and clearing Subcon Well with only No Bonk Badge
  • Skipping all of the Subcon firewalls in painting shuffle via Cherry Hovering
  • Getting to Toilet of Doom (and the boss arena chest) via Cherry Hovering
  • Entering Subcon from Your Contract has Expired via Cherry Hovering
  • Getting to Queen Vanessa's Manor (and the roof item) via Cherry Hovering (Painting logic expects you to have 1 painting unlock)

Other Things:

  • Added two new options (YarnBalancePercent and TimePieceBalancePercent) to change how much (in percentage) yarn and time pieces in the pool are progression balanced. Defaults to 20 and 35 respectively.
  • Fixed some logic issues related to Alpine
  • Massive code cleanup
  • Fixed some vanilla-forced acts sometimes not being vanilla

  • Added location/item name display for all games. Location and item send/receive messages as well as hints are now supported and are printed to the in-game console. You can hint for items by typing ap_say !hint into the in-game console.
Note that with this change, the game may take a while to read all of the item/location name data on connect. This will only have to be done once per game though, as the data is saved to disk permanently and is only updated if the game's datapackage checksum changes.

  • Added a new option (NoFreeRoamFinale) to prevent Free Roam acts from being shuffled onto chapter finales. Defaults to true.

  • Fixed another logic bug with Subcon painting shuffle

  • Fixed logic issues related to Subcon Forest Finale

  • Fixed hat craft order and yarn costs being carried over from other Hat in Time worlds, causing major logic issues

  • Fixed logic issues related to certain Alpine Skyline locations
