Foundry Fundamentals Smart Contract Lottery doubts

Hi I'm studying with the foudry fundamentals course but I'm in the last leccion where we work on a Smart contract lottery and trying to understand the contract I get some question like

When and how the function fulfillRandomWords is called ?
How in that funtion we make sure that the winner is getting paid?
if the winner doesn't get paid in that moment automaticly does he lost the money?

Going to second this. The Smart Contract Lottery section is where the course really picks up in complexity and I have had to rewatch things multiple times to get a better feel for it.
