Reduce the code size

When doing the git clone it takes about ++ 13 MB of code , I am not sure if this is the correct size ? We should be able to reduce the size of the codebase

With the current branle architecture the size has gone up to 21+ MB. On the plus side the size is due to the .git repository which we can fix using https://stackoverflow.com/questions/5613345/how-to-shrink-the-git-folder
