CPU lag - AI #161

Hi,
I love hosting DUWS for my friends on a local server but the AI that spawns to guard the home base put a heavy and largely unnecessary load on my CPU.

I would like to offer a different solution to keep our beloved motherbase safe from evil chedakies and such.

Instead of a wholesale spawn of ai which is vey close to the players in base I would think about turning the base into a safe zone with alarm; this might also solve the random base-crashing vehicle spawn problem - which happens less after the script we've talked about.

The alarm goes off upon detecting an opposition.

Base will now spawn "glorious warriors of motherland" to defend it and the safe zone "shield" drops to allow fair combat.

players are getting notice and it's up to them to decide how will they RTB - if at all.

Eitherway - The base will spawn its own defenses upon need and will save considerably on CPU resources, the safe zone might not be the most elegant solution but that's what I've came up with up until now playing the mission.

Cheers and keep up the good work!

Or a manual base-defense building like in Liberation, but more light-weight? (Defenses, not a full-fledge fortress..)
