Configurable delay? #4
Comments
What exactly do you mean by this? What would its use case be? |
Add at least one tick (or more, up to the default amount) |
I don't see any explicit reason to add this. The idea of the mod is to completely remove the cool-down. Adding a 1 tick delay is still considered a cool-down. If I were to make it configurable I would have to add a setting which would either require a library or some tinkering, which I'd prefer to avoid. The mod is simple and concise and it does not get in the way (e.g. by adding a bunch of new settings). I'd like to keep it this way. Unless more people start complaining about this being an issue, I will not explicitly add that setting. Feel free to fork the repo and modify it to your desire though. |
As time passed, and more people started using the mod and joining my Discord, there does seem to be some demand for a configurable delay. While I'm personally a bit torn on this since it encourages cheaters using the mod, I am open to discuss this matter further if still of interest. If one can provide a solid reason for implementing a customizable delay (aside from attempting to bypass whatever anti cheat), I might implement this. PRs are always welcome too 😄 |
