password reset token dies every 5 minutes

I've been struggling to get my acct back for a few months now, and this has been my only hope, but I've run across the issue of the password reset token dying every 5 1/2 minutes, which murders the script. (which I can't avoid, because they had disabled my account, thus my only way in is to reset the pw)

I'd have to baby sit the script and get a new token every 5 minutes, and I've tried a lot of mouse recorders with only frustration to automate the process.

any advice?

I haven't noticed this happening for my own account. In fact; my own reset token has been valid for months.

If you're technically savvy enough, you could try something like this:

1. Get the reset link from your EMail website using their API or mouse automation
2. Use regex to skim the token from the link
3. Assign the token to the reset token variable in the Python code

Unfortunately I can't write anything like this. Because people use many different EMail sites, so I can't program for all of them.

Does the command prompt close as well as the chrome window or just the chrome window? Because I've been unable to replicate your situation.

Does this show up for you after the browser closes?

it does show up yes

the cmd stays up, and so does the chrome window
the chrome window just turns white and the script doesn't restart

Unfortunately I can't write anything like this. Because people use many different EMail sites, so I can't program for all of them.

Mailboxes allow you to access emails from other clients so you'd only really need to support one of them and some clients even allow you to foward mail to other emails so I dont see why this couldn't be something you can implement (clients usually have support for Gmailify, POP and IMAP)

I personally am not interested in expanding the scope of this already fragile program into an email inbox parser, link finder, link traverser, etc. But I could see the uses of it for a more automated process.
