Blind leading the blind

  • State: Missing polish
  • Theme: Learn about walking enemies
  • Size: Very Small
  • Enemies:
    • One walker
    • Two patrollers
  • Learn:
    • Enemy behaviour for the walking enemies
  • Description:
    • Relatively safe environment
    • Show mechanics without needing any interactions
    • Should be an easy level

The Beginning

  • Theme: World intro, first "real level"
  • Size: Small
  • Enemies: 1 patrol + 1 flying
  • Learn:
    • How to avoid enemies
    • Find hidden coins
  • Description: Easy, introduces fliers. Needs basic avoiding to reach level.

  • Description: Manipulate in order to proceed, learn the behaviour

Firestarter

  • Description: Narrow platforms but not too hard

The Tower

    • Use of 45-degree tiles
    • Downhill

    • Hard to find correct path, especially at the end

Too greedily and too deep

  • Theme: Big Enemy

    • Boss
  • Learn: How to handle boss for the first and last time--
  • Description:
    • Get a lot of blocks up front
    • Boss alternates between following attacks
      • Spit a lot of fireballs in many directions
      • Fetch and launch spinning enemies towards player (will only spin if not re-attached)

      • Redirect and hit eye to lose HP
