Nice. Glad to hear others have found this useful. FYI: I know that the Dell documentation states a specific version for the different generation servers, however, I have found (at least with my R720xd's), I can run all the way up to v10.3 without problem or loss of function. If you want to try out the newer version (v10.3), just rerun the script - it will remove any previous install automatically then install the selected version. (If for some reason you find that v10.3 doesn't work, just rerun the script and pick a different version. Pretty simple and easy to do.) Note: There is an open issue in this repo that discusses the limitation with v11.x on Debian. Check that out before attempting to install anything newer than v10.3... no worries, it won't break anything... when the install fails, you can just rerun the script and select a different version. |
