Issues with HP EliteBook 840 G4 #3
Comments
oh and I also used the EFI by CoreRanger and that worked but first I had to edit some stuff I can't remember what I edited but I'm just confused on why it won't work, I'll send a screenshot once I get out of school at 2:14 EST |
Hi, you could try his EFI, it is very clean and all working great: https://github.com/chris1111/HP-EliteBook-840-G4. I use it with Monterey. |
the only problem is I don't have a real Mac.... does this require a real Mac to set this up? or can I use this without a real Mac? |
also thanks for sharing this with me I will try it out later I'm in school, I get out at 2:14 EST |
I am using a refurbished 840 G4 and I have installed Big Sur the first time, but when I come to install, the apple logo with the Big Sur progress bar is stuck, please help!
I did the bios correctly and done all the steps but I also disabled AvoidRuntimeDefrag because I saw it on a reddit forum it worked the first time but now it doesn't work at all. so is there anything else I possibly need to edit?
