Implement fog & Shadows on atoll terrain #8

Hi Doug (& team?)
First of all this component is fab, so much fun!

I want to know if you have intention to add fog and shadow support for the terrain?
I have made a project "The Collage Garden" and for the life of me i couldn't make the shadow or fog components work between my added elements and the terrain. As you can see from the scene, the fog (bright yellow) is working on my objects, but not on the atoll or plateau or the grid i have placed over the plateau... and the plateau is not receiving shadows.
Any help would be appreciated,

Shadow and fog can be expensive to calculate, so I haven't used them on my worlds. I think I'd need to change the custom shaders, which is a nontrivial task. I haven't had the time to work on webVR for a while. Feel free to investigate what's necessary to implement fog and shadows with a custom shader, and submit a pull request if you figure it out!
