  EMsoftOO is an open source package for the simulation of
  electron scattering in TEM and SEM, as well as X-ray Laue
  diffraction, polarized light microscopy and a few other
  modalities.  The main body of the code is written in
  Object Oriented Fortran 2018, and the package is built
  using the CMake configuration engine.  The code relies on
  the EMsoftSuperbuild repository which provides a few
  essential libraries.  The package has extensive wiki pages
  that provide examples on how to use the individual
  command-line programs.
