The following steps describe how you can extract local QuickCapture data from your device. All QuickCapture data is stored in a plain SQLLite database (geometries and attributes) plus a folder for your attachments. You can use SQLLite tools to browse the content of your data files.

Data Recovery for iOS devices (iPad and iPhone)

  1. If not already, install iTunes into your computer.
  2. Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
  3. Connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your computer using the USB cable that came with your device.
  4. Click your device in iTunes. Get help if you can't find it
  5. In the left sidebar, click File Sharing.
  6. Select QuickCapture from the list of apps and wait a few seconds.
  7. Use the Save... button to save your QuickCapture data into your computer

Data Recovery for Android

  1. Connect your phone to your computer using the USB cable that came with your device.
  2. Use the My files/Storage (this will vary depending on Android version) to navigate to ArcGIS/QuickCapture/<unique string>/<logged in username>. This directory will contain the SQLite database.
