Releases: FAIMS/map-digitisation
TRAP Map Digitisation
This Map Digitisation module was created for the Tundzha Regional Archaeological Project, based at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia, to facilitate simultaneous multi-user digitisation of features from georeferenced digital maps. Each device can hold a different suite of maps while the module structure ensures that data are consistent across all users.
This release was created for the paper 'FAIRer Data through Digital Recording: The FAIMS Mobile Experience' submitted to the Journal of Compter Applications in Archaeology.
Map Digitisation 2018
This module for digitisation of features from maps allows to capture points, lines, and polygons from georeferenced maps loaded as geotiffs with SRID selected in static data. It is production-ready. The attribute forms differ by shape; point attribute form is constrained to collect map information on burial mound symbols; while lines and polygons offer a unstructured free-text form.
