When creating a wrapped world, it is important to make sure all your settings are correct.
Either view this video, or follow the instructions below for more detail:
- Go into the "Create New World" prompt in the "Singleplayer" menu
- Click on the "World" tab
- You should see a "Wrap World" setting at the bottom of the list. Click on it.
- Set the minimum and maximum values for the X and Z axis. Note the Rules below for requirements. For a demo, set the minimums to -16 and the maximums to 16. (Don't change the "Shifted Axis" and "Shift Amount" settings for now)
If invalid values are entered, or if these conditions are breached, the "World" -> "Wrap World" toggle will be OFF.
Note that bounds are in chunks.
- The minimum bound and the maximum bound combined cannot be less than 8.
- The minimum bound cannot be greater than the maximum bound
- The render distance is limited to the width of the smallest axis bounds. Chunk loading issues would occur if this was not the case.
- World generation is still vanilla, so world edges aren't seamlessly blended together. However, this functionality should be possible to implement in the future with 4D Simplex Noise.
