The totality of major fixes to make transport_test exercise mode work (scripted mode was working already). What remains is to figure out why Debug variations of SHM-jemalloc sub-mode of exercise mode fail late in the test consistently (similar runs locally pass for me). In the meantime that variation is disabled.
