A new 0.x.0 release! There's lots of smaller changes, and a good collection of bigger ones as well.
New:

  • Profile Menu!
    • Your user image will now (optionally) appear on the right side of 12Bar!
    • Click to display a menu with quick access to Windows Settings, 12Bar Options, and power options!
  • Tray Icon
Double-click the tray icon to open settings, or right click for the following:
    • 12Bar options
    • Relaunch 12Bar
    • Quit 12bar
    • Quick devtools shortcut
  • Options Popup is now 12Bar Settings!
    • 12Bar Settings is the new home for all 12Bar’s adjustable options! Double-click the tray icon to open
    • You can now change the temperature unit for weather from the settings! (This will automatically refresh 12Bar)
    • You can also show/hide the new user menu button

Changed:

  • Tray overflow icon
Now opens the tray overflow window instead of the old options popup
  • Reworked the search bar to be more responsive/visible
  • Updated to the new Windows Copilot icon across the app
  • Slightly refreshed the new search icons
  • Status area:
    • Network icon:
      • Now properly functional!
      • Displays Wi-Fi or Ethernet icon depending on respective connection
      • Note: The icon may take a few seconds to appear after (re)loading, as it detects what type of connection you have
    • Battery icon:
      • Should now hide on Desktop machines, or machines with otherwise no battery

Fixed:

  • 12Bar will now behave a bit better when adjusting displays, opening full-screen apps, and more. The app is now told to reconfigure the size and location when display metrics change.
  • Fixed some issues with the new Copilot button not hiding correctly

Bugs and issues:

  • Sometimes the tray-overflow button will require 2 clicks to activate
  • The new search icon may display the wrong color, toggle the app’s theme to mitigate
