This is a more foundational/feature-fix update. This update fixes a few bugs with coloring and rendering, as well as introduces a new ‘menu popup’ that allows you instant access to both Windows’ and 12Bar’s settings from anywhere.

New:

• Weather icons
  • Now using a universal set for light and dark mode that looks great on any background!

Changed:

• Reworked surface-text coloring
  • Before, 12Bar wouldn’t update after toggling it’s background color fill, leading to surface-level text (weather, date, status icons, etc) to be nearly invisible
  • Now, 12Bar will switch the color of these items automatically if you toggle the background color fill
• 12Bar Options - Say hello to the Menu Popup!
  • 12Bar Options has been combined with the user menu for easier access to your controls
  • Acrylic! The backdrop will blur whatever’s behind it using the theme you select
  • No longer always-on-top
  • All hitboxes will now animate when clicked
  • You can now ctrl+click the 12Bar Options button in the menu popup to open dev tools
  • The ‘App theme’ option will now show a sun or moon icon depending on the selected theme
  • The Copilot icon will now appear in full color
• Refreshed clickable items:
  • Larger click-targets
  • Hover style now closer resembles Windows’ taskbar
  • Most elements will have some sort of animation or animated element when clicked

Fixed:

• A generic image will now be used if the app can’t get your profile image
• More improvements to getting/changing app info to make it less likely to be blank
