Points Deduction in Final Ranking – Request for Clarification

I am reaching out to understand the reasoning behind a significant points deduction that affected my final rank in the GSSoC Extended (GSSoC Extd) program. I’ve put in substantial time and effort, ensuring my pull requests consistently met the required standards. However, toward the end of the program, my points dropped unexpectedly, which considerably impacted my ranking.

Given that other participants with similar contributions maintained consistent point levels, I’m unsure why my ranking decreased so drastically. This has left me feeling that my efforts may not have been recognized in a fair way, which is disheartening after investing so much in the program.

Could the team please provide insight into the criteria or any specific factors that led to this deduction? I believe this transparency would be helpful for participants like me to better understand the evaluation process and learn from it.
